The Makita 18 Volt LXT Lithium-Ion cordless high pressure inflator bare tool inflates car tires, bike tires or sports balls quickly and easily. It comes equipped with the Makita built motor that delivers up to 160 PSI. An auto-stop function of this inflator, automatically stops inflation when the preset air pressure is obtained, thus helps in preventing overfill. Tool features 3-speed settings that is high, medium as well as low. The inflator also features an air-release button, high visibility pressure gauge display with backlight and an LED light to illuminate the work area. It has a 25-1/2 Inch hose length to provide better reach. The compact design of tool ensures easy portability and convenient storage. It is part of Makita’s expanding 18 Volt LXT System – the world’s largest cordless tool system powered by 18 Volt Lithium-Ion slide style batteries. This tool features the Makita created Star Protection Computer Controls system for improved tool performance and extended battery life. This Star Protection system is a communication technology that allows the Star Protection equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions during use to safeguard against overloading, over discharging and overheating. For increased versatility, this tool can also be powered by Makita 18 Volt LXT Lithium-Ion batteries with the star symbol on the battery indicating Star Protection inside.
